Foundation Concert Honors VICC Cancer Patient

A newly formed foundation will hold its inaugural fundraiser, Friday, July 17, 6 p.m. in the Listening Room, 209 10th Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee. Michelle’s Angels Foundation was created in memory of Michelle R. Knoll, formerly of San Antonio, Tx and Nashville, Tenn., who passed following a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer. Michelle was a patient of physicians at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.
The 1st Annual Angel Artist Appreciation and Celebration Concert will honor Josette Amsilli, a Nashville resident and Vanderbilt Medical Center employee who lost her husband to cancer in 2008 and who was diagnosed with cancer at the end of that year.
Nashville singer/songwriters Ken Harrell, Rob Harris, Greg Johnson, Tom Kimmel, A.J. Masters, Kim Parent, Marcia Ramirez, Tonja Rose and Nicole Witt will perform during the free concert.
