The Vanderbilt Cancer Wellness Program has introduced a new service for those touched by cancer. Integrative Oncology combines traditional medicine with evidence-based treatments. This is a comprehensive approach to care that involves the patient’s mind, body and spirit. Dr. Roy Elam, the medical director for the Vanderbilt Center for Integrative Health, describes how his staff helps treat the “whole person.”
